Ives Insurance & Selectpath – LaSalle Office Gets a 3M Window Film Upgrade
When Ives Insurance & Selectpath renovated and expanded their existing office space in LaSalle, Ontario, they once again turned to Windsor Window Imaging, their trusted 3M Authorized Dealer, for premium window film solutions. Following the success of our previous installation at their Belle River office, the client sought the same high-quality results—sun control, privacy, and energy efficiency—for their refreshed and enlarged space. Our team delivered a tailored solution using 3M Prestige Exterior and 3M Fasara Decorative Films, customized to meet both functional and aesthetic needs.
The Challenge
The LaSalle office featured 36 large west- and north-facing exterior windows along with 75 interior floor-to-ceiling glass walls. The primary concerns were excessive sun exposure through the west-facing glass, limited interior privacy due to transparent office partitions, and maintaining a sleek, cohesive aesthetic. The interior setup also presented unique logistical constraints—many glass walls were closely aligned with partition walls, leaving minimal room for interior application.
The Solution
To address solar heat gain and glare on the west side and maintain uniformity across the building, we applied 3M Prestige 20 Exterior window film to all west- and north-facing windows, covering 685 sq ft. The exterior application was chosen for its seamless finish and ease of installation, given the window configuration.
For interior privacy, we installed 3M Fasara Cloud Narrow White Gradient film across more than 1,000 sq ft of interior glass. Applied in a 50-inch band at mid-height, the film offers balanced privacy while preserving natural light and a modern, open feel. This solution fosters a comfortable and confidential environment for both employees and clients.
Despite needing to remove and reinstall dozens of door handles for a flawless look, our crew completed both interior and exterior work within two days each. All work was coordinated during office hours with minimal disruption to the client's operations.
